Terms of sale
Scope
The Maison does not yet accept orders or deposits: any request sent today is an enquiry without commitment. These terms will apply to orders once the Maison opens them; each order will then be confirmed in writing, stating the seller, the piece, the lead time and the price.
Commissions
No piece is held in stock: each piece will be made to order, from a silhouette, a function, an intention. An order will become firm only once it is confirmed in writing, piece, specifications, lead time and price, and the deposit set out in that confirmation has been paid.
Prices
Prices are established by bespoke quotation, according to the line, the materials and the personalisation. They are expressed in euros, including applicable VAT where due.
Payment
Once orders are open, a deposit will be requested upon written confirmation of the order to launch production, and the balance before delivery. The terms of the deposit, including its refund, will be set out in the written confirmation, without prejudice to your statutory rights.
Lead times
Lead times will be stated for each order and will reflect the atelier's actual making time, plus a safety margin. They will run from the written confirmation of the order and receipt of the deposit.
Right of withdrawal
For made-to-measure or personalised pieces, the legal right of withdrawal does not apply (art. L221-28 of the French Consumer Code), the piece being made to your specifications. Where a standard, non-personalised piece is sold at a distance, a 14-day right of withdrawal applies under the conditions of law.
Legal guarantees
Every piece benefits from the legal guarantee of conformity (2 years) and the guarantee against hidden defects, under the conditions provided by French law.
Retention of title
The pieces remain the property of the Maison until full payment of the price.
Liability
The Maison is bound by an obligation of means and of care. Its liability cannot be engaged for damage resulting from misuse or the normal wear of a piece.
Personal data
Personal data is processed as set out in our privacy policy.
Applicable law & disputes
These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought first; a consumer may also resort to a consumer mediator. Write to contact@maisongranderemise.com.
